Edwards Right Price Market

Edwards Right Price Market was started in 1933 as a humble roadside market in Fort Collins, Colorado. The store has remained in the Edwards family for four generations and has since evolved into a lively grocery store, enjoyed by everyone in the local community.

Edwards Right Price Market is a family-owned and operated store located in the booming city of Fort Collins, Colorado. The store, which originally started as a humble roadside market selling local fruits and vegetables, has since evolved into a large grocery store that serves the residents of the local community. In 2014, the Edwards family decided they couldn’t hold off the competition with their current store décor; it was time to update their outdated store. They wanted customers to know who they were and they wanted to attract a new target market made up of higher class individuals, families and millennials.

The Edwards family had several goals they wanted to accomplish through the remodel of their store. First, they wanted their décor to fit their image and brand. Second, they wanted to stand out from the competition in the area. Lastly, they wanted the flavor and character of their store to fit their decor. The Decorworx sales team researched the local community to determine what décor would attract customers in the area.

In an effort to localize the store and promote a warm and welcome atmosphere that would appeal to their new customer base, rich wood was incorporated throughout the store’s decor.

The store originally catered to a local customer base made up of baby boomers and farmers. The Edwards family desired to attract a customer base made up of families, higher class clients and millennials. In an effort to localize the store and promote a warm and welcome atmosphere that would appeal to their new customer base, rich wood was incorporated throughout the store’s decor. A unique solution was created for the valances, as there was not a lot of room to work with (headers were engineered for the area). Dark color tones and easy to read, sans-serif fonts were used on these headers to create a comfortable environment for customers. A unique timeline made up of a mural of photos outlined the history of the store. The overall décor promoted credibility and tradition, a nod to the city’s farming roots. The store décor was richer and sophisticated, but kept a playful edge which created an alive, but classy quality.

The new décor of Edwards Right Price Market is modern and current, with a touch of the store’s original charm still remaining. The Edwards family was impressed with the remodel. It was a simple and easy process and they couldn’t believe Decorworx was able to create the perfect design.
